In the third quarter of 2024, the Dominican Republic's Android users showed notable engagement with top navigation and maps applications. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps displayed varying trends in downloads and active users.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter, with figures ranging from approximately 5.9K to 6.4K weekly. The app's active user base remained robust, peaking at around 91K in early September, demonstrating steady engagement among users.

Offline Maps, GPS, Speedometer experienced a significant increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter, climbing from 1.4K in early September to nearly 2.9K by the end of the month. This rise coincided with an increase in active users, which grew from approximately 2.2K to over 3.3K in the same period.

Radar - Speed Camera Detector saw a moderate increase in downloads mid-quarter, reaching a peak of around 2.2K in mid-September, before settling at approximately 1.1K by the end of the quarter. Active users also followed an upward trend, peaking at about 2.6K in mid-September.
